About the masterclass

This online masterclass will be focusing on a technique called "Basinage", working on alternative Balayage techniques that can be done at the basin area. This technique reduces time in application and is less stressful to the condition of your clients hair, as it is done on towel dried hair making the blend from darkness into light an easier transition for the hair.
The Basinage technique is suited to medium and long lengths of hair that is one length or layered and it will create a look that is soft and beachy. We will also look at toning with some on trend metallic coppers and bronze shades.
This technique would suit intermediate to advanced level of hairdresser and can be adapted to be as commercial or Hi Fashion as the hairdresser or client wants, depending on colour choice.

About Bea Moate
Bea Moate has been in the hairdressing industry for over 30 years, with 15 of those years spent at Toni & Guy (both in London & Dublin). During her time at Toni & Guy she worked as international technical director, which involved working on the creation of the yearly collections, international seminar work as well as salon work.
The last 11 years, Bea has been working for Xpert Professional Haircare as the Alfaparf Milano academy manager in Dublin and is responsible for the training of this brand for 1000's of hairdressers.
