About Robert Eaton
Robert Eaton, 2019 & 2021 British Hairdresser of the Year and multi-award winning stylist, is the Creative Director at Russell Eaton salons in Leeds and Barnsley.
Robert’s career began in 1996 when he joined his father, Russell Eaton, in the family’s Barnsley salon as an apprentice. Robert’s hairdressing skills and dedication saw him quickly rise up to become one of the most respected names in the hairdressing industry. Robert Eaton is widely known in the hairdressing industry as a true hair colour expert and has extensive knowledge in a wide area of hair and styling, as well as being a fully qualified trichologist – making him one of the most in-demand hairdressers in the region.
Robert Eaton developed his passion and skills as a hairdresser in hair colour work has worked with leading global hair colour houses, and has recently become Wella Professionals Technical Director and a Wella Professionals Global Educator. Additionally, having spent over 15 years working extensively with wig personalisation, Robert saw the benefits of learning the more in-depth medical and cosmetic aspects of hair and scalp care. To expand his skill set, Robert Eaton graduated from the Institute of Trichology, becoming one of the first qualified Trichologists and active session stylists in the north of England. Robert Eaton also adapts his skills for catwalk styling, and is frequently requested behind the scenes at London Fashion Week and within the entertainment industry.
Robert Eaton has been officially recognised in the hairdressing industry scooping numerous awards including becoming a British Hairdressing Awards Hall of Fame member twice and Wella Professionals Global Educator.
