About Paul Davey
Passionate about education, Paul Davey founded Hairdressing Live in 2017, enabling hairdressers all over the world to hone their skills by learning from some of the industry’s most accomplished hairdressers. In 2019. Paul is also an author of his own educational book Elements which was published in 2020.
Multi-award winning hairdresser Paul Davey, co-owner with his brother Ian of the highly-acclaimed Davey Davey salons in Dublin. From working backstage at London Fashion Week to tending to a roll call of celebrities at Cannes Film Festival or working on editorials for a host of Irish and UK titles, Paul's hairdressing skills are multifaceted and in high demand.
His editorial and session work has seen him travel to London, New York and throughout Europe working with international fashion publications such as Strut, Noise, Cosmopolitan and Elle, as well as collaborating with creative designers Maria Grochvogal, John Rocha, Paul Costello, Phillip Tracy, Joanne Hynes, Top Shop Unique and Basso & Brook.
Paul has worked with some of the most famous names in showbiz including Martin Scorsese, Christian Bale, Cillian Murphy, Emma Thompson, Izabella Scorupco and Fionnula Flannagan. He has also worked with many artists backstage at music festivals and with well-known TV presenters and models including Mumford and Sons, Ellie Golding, Kate Nash, Miles Kane, Robbie Williams Band, La Roux, Kesha, Jamelia, Laura Whitmore and Sophie Anderton.
